A nonprofit technology studio

Technology that powers good.

Good Minded is a nonprofit. Businesses hire us for expert websites, software, and strategy — and that work funds the same technology, free, for the nonprofits and charities working to make our community better.

How it works

One model, two kinds of impact

We earn our way, then give it away. Here’s the loop that makes it work.

1

Businesses hire us

We do professional technology work — websites, software, marketing, IT, and strategy — for companies and small businesses.

2

That funds free help for nonprofits

We give nonprofits and charities the same expert technology, generally at no cost, so they can do more good.

3

Everyone moves forward

Great causes get stronger, and our community grows with them — as we grow, we build toward mentoring people who need a start.

Do well, so we can do good.

The heart of what we do

Free technology for the causes that need it

We believe the organizations working hardest to help others shouldn’t be held back by technology or budgets. So we build it for them — websites, software, strategy — and hand them the tools to thrive.

What we do

Professional-grade technology

Senior-level work by a team that gets mission-driven organizations — and every project helps fund good.

A project we’re proud of

The Muse Room

We took a founder’s dream of a community art space from a first conversation to a grand opening — business plan, brand, website, and physical build-out included. 100 people came through the doors on opening day.

A product we built

FestRunner

Festival-management software we designed and built — free for small and community festivals, paid for the larger ones. The big events fund free access for the small ones: our do-well-to-do-good model, shipped as a product.

More from the studio

More Good Minded products

Alongside FestRunner, we build other products on the same do-well-to-do-good model — and every dollar of profit goes back into the mission.

Doing right by your business, and doing good

Need a website, an app, a marketing push, or a plan? You’ll get senior-level work from a team that’s seen it all — and every project helps fund good in your community.

In their words

Trusted by the people we help

Good Minded helped turn the Muse Room from an idea into a real place. They took on the parts I didn’t know how to do myself — the business plan, the brand, the website, even helping bring the space to life — and treated our mission like it was their own. On opening day, a hundred people walked through our doors. We simply wouldn’t be here without them.

What I love about Good Minded is that the mission isn’t an afterthought — it’s the whole reason they exist. They do the same caliber of technology work you’d expect from a top firm, then give it to nonprofits that could never otherwise afford it. It’s rare to find a team this talented that’s this genuinely committed to the community.
